Here is where you will be able to finds reviews on each level the You Can Make It Sewing Video Series as well as pictures of my progress as well as finished projects. As well as special tips and tricks I learned from the video and some I learned on my own. I hope these reviews will put future sewers in the right direction to learn.
Well I have viewed the You Can Make It :Level 1 video one time through today, and will be working on the Built By Wendy skirt pattern from the Sew U book as my project for this video and pausing the video as needed. I have made on error already, on the Sew U pattern I did not add the extra 1” to the body of the pattern piece before cutting it out so that I would be able to construct the casing for my elastic. I am hoping that by merely folding down the top of the fabric 1” I will not affect the garmets overall fit. I will be posting a review on the Level 1 video shortly so be on the lookout! Check out the progress I made today.

Today I almost didn’t make it…Well the skirt is almost finished and the review is about to be written once I figure how to use the blind hem feature on my sewing machine. Due to some issues…(to be explained tommrow with the completed project) the skirt had to have some of it parts remade.
