Since I was home this week visiting my family I decided to take a trip out to my favorite thift shop and found a vintage shirt dress simplicity patern (can’t wait to make one of those) and two vintage shell top patterns (which I am giving my sewing mom along with some other sewing goodies since I missed mother’s day with her). I also found this book called Basic Tailoring and apprently it is one of the best books out there (its vintage) and runs about $50 and I got it for 65 cents too cool…

I have that Tailoring book! I also found it in a secondhand shop. It is so good – I used it when I made a plaid coat and it was so helpful for the fabric layout and construction.
