I messaged marry about a week ago complementing her on her hot hot heat dress I blogged about here I just loved how she got the bust portion to fit so well, and she promised me she would post a tutorial on how she did it…Howto | burdastyle.com. JoAnns Craft Store had Simplicity patterns on sale for 5 for $5 I bought these two:

I bought 2848 because the next video in the YCMI series is going to be a jumper! I got some great dollar bin fabric to make the one featured on the left. I also bought Simplicity 3831 for anthropology insprired dress. I still needto find a slip dress pattern to go underneath the lace fabric that will be used for this. I’m also very excited because the sewing center that I bought the tailor tacker and hera marker now carries Swedish tracing paper! I had been calling around looking for pattern-ease or Swedish tracing paper and people were acting like they had never heard of the stuff…I really wanted to the pattern alterations for my vintage mccall dress to wear the first day of school. Today I signed up to be a part of the 4 month refashion on Wardrobe Refashion. I’m sure I can find some time to refashion in the midst of work, school, interning and all the other stuff I manage to add to my young life. I mean with all these vintage patterns I’m anxious to alter and all the sewing skills I’m learning I’m dying to do some refashioning!
